Thanking God that He helped us to see another year and to make it through 2023.
As we start 2024, I have one wish for all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
I wish that all of us believers make a commitment to read God's Word from Genesis to Revelation.
Not just a daily devotional or memorizing a few verses each day or week.
Your relationship with God and your daily walk towards becoming more like Jesus Christ takes on a whole new dimension when you commit to reading through the whole Bible in one year.
There are plenty of one-year reading plans out there. Your own Bible may already have one. If you don't have a Bible with a one-year reading plan, the ones I read from that have one-year reading plans are the Tony Evans Study Bible and the Life Application Study Bible. Highly recommend both of those, especially reading from a study Bible that has notes and commentary to help you better understand and apply the verses that you read!
Whichever Bible you use, whatever version you read from, the most important part is for all of us as Christians to increase our biblical literacy.
Let's make 2024 the year we become more intimately knowledgeable of the Word of God, while daily applying it in our lives, as well as using it as we witness to the world around us.
