Philip Blackett

What is most important to Philip and what truly forms his identity is his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Philip's mission for the rest of his life is to Grow His People, Grow His Businesses, and Grow His Kingdom as a good and faithful steward of all God has entrusted him, while having a positive influence on all who he encounters each day as a #KingdomMan.

Professionally speaking, Philip is passionate about helping entrepreneurs and small business owners grow their dream businesses, while utilizing his skillset in sales, marketing and business development. Previously, Philip served as President of Cemetery Services, Inc., a seven-figure business he bought based in the Greater Boston area.  It was "his pleasure" to serve as a Manager for a Chick-Fil-A restaurant.

 

At FedEx, Philip previously provided support to several senior Marketing executives (including the current CEO) as a Senior Communications Specialist after working on its Corporate Social Responsibility team. Before FedEx, Philip advised investors on Wall Street in New York City as an Equity Research Analyst for Goldman Sachs, where he helped recommend investments in over 100 publicly traded companies across ten industries.

Regarding his education, Philip graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Masters of Divinity (M.Div) degree with a concentration in Great Commission Studies. He also earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. In college, Philip graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar, majoring in Political Science and Economics.

Philip is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. When he is not fulfilling his purpose, Philip enjoys reading, watching sports, and raising his twin daughters, Sofia and Elizabeth, with his wife Mayra.
